Linear Recruitment are looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team in the Northeast that consists of Affordable homes.
Responsibilities of the role:
Supporting the quantity surveying team in various aspects being cost estimations, budget preparation and Tendering process.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling day to day project costs, conduct site visits to assess progress and to identify potential cost variations.
Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and materials.
Additionally, you would assist in preparing and managing contracts, processing payments and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations.
Essential Skills:
Previous Quantity Surveying Experience within Housing Construction.
Good knowledge of construction awareness
Computer Literate
Good Problem-solving skills.
Great communication/negotiating skills.
Ambition to further develop skills and progression.
