Our client, a leading company in the Controls, Automation, and Manufacturing sector, is seeking a Control Panel Wireperson to join their team on a contract basis. As a Control Panel Wireperson, you will be responsible for wiring electrical components, assembly of stainless and mild steel enclosures, and reading drawings for the installation of electrical components. You will need to demonstrate expertise in wiring, electrical engineering, and panel wiring.
Key Responsibilities:
Build metal panels and enclosures to a high quality standard, in line with deadlines and complying with industry and customer standards and regulations.
Wire electrical components to specified drawings using stripping and crimping tools.
Lay out chassis plates using measuring tape, ruler, drills, taps, and rivets.
Travel within the UK and abroad as required by projects.
Job Requirements:
Experience in electrical wiring.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and translating them into physical products.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and a structured approach to workload.
Desirable Skills:
City and Guilds Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
Forklift truck license.
