Assistant Ecologist
Peterborough
We are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join a small, environmental team based near Peterborough. You will ideally be passionate about the environment and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside ecologists, arboriculturalists and landscape architects. The company work on a range of projects in the residential and conservation sectors.
There are many different opportunities to progress within the company and stem off into different routes, such as botany or BNG team. You will also have lots of support to obtain protected species licences and memberships. The company offer a generous holiday allowance, paid overtime and paid CIEEM memberships. The company are also open to a hybrid work set up.
For this role, you will be involved in;
A variety of protected species surveys,
Ecological Impact Assessments (EIA),
Writing a range of Ecological reports including PEAs, PRAs, EIAs, EcIAs,
Liaising with clients, project managers and stakeholders,
Preparing fee proposals.
