Time Appointments are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established Freight Forwarding business in Ipswich who are currently seeking to appoint a Freight Forwarder to join their successful team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a driven and experienced independent shipping, logistics and warehousing specialist and expand your skillset.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Collating of relevant customs and shipping paperwork
· Preparation and transmission of Customs Entries and obtaining of Customs clearance
· Booking of international ocean freight
· Use of Shipping booking systems
· Liaise with customers and clients efficiently
Skills & Experience Required:
· Freight forwarding experience
· Excellent communication skills
· The ability to work well within a team and as an individual
· Good Interpersonal skills, Face to Face and via Telephone
· A Positive and can-do attitude
