Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has made them a trusted name in the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter to join our workshop team near Knebworth.

Job Description: As a Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of heavy plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, and excavators. This workshop-based role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on heavy plant machinery.
Conduct regular maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Utilize technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of service.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or similar role.
Strong knowledge of heavy plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, and excavators.
Proficiency in diagnostics and repair of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.Benefits:
