HV Estimator
Alecto Recruitment is working with a UK leading Multi Utility connections provider. A leading business who specialise within new connections and infrastructure projects nationally.
Due to their continued growth, they are looking to hire a HV High Voltage Estimator.
Salary:
£60,000 - £70,000 + Package
Hybrid working available
The Position:
The Estimator is responsible for the timely production of detailed pricing of High Voltage (HV) & Extra High voltage (EHV) tenders and quotes up to 132KV.
This will require compilation of accurate estimates from mainly first principle methods for multi discipline works, including labour, plant, equipment, materials and sub-contract requirements
Preparation of tenders and quotations from specifications and drawings within defined time period
Preparation of tenders and quotations from DNO point of connection offers
Requirements:
Detailed understanding of DNO / ICP type clients drivers and needs which included the regulatory framework they operate under
Experienced engineer with a proven track record in providing technical solutions and costing for an electrical and civil engineering environment up to 132KV on private and / or regulated DNO networks.
Commercial acumen
Excellent team working, financial and organisational skills
