Location: Over

Salary: £26,000 p.a.

Office Based

Long established business and well known within their industry for providing mechanical services within their unique industry. This role would be a genuine opportunity to manage your own desk, and really take ownership!

Our clients deal with specialist fleets of equipment/plant on behalf of manufacturers, and end users i.e. the clients. They also own their own fleet which they hire out to businesses as and when.

You would be responsible for:

Dealing with customers via phone and email and occasionally face to face. These customers could be wishing hire equipment, or manufacturers who sell the equipment to the end user and you manage the maintenance contracts for the end user as part of the package or your customer could be a business with a fleet and they require you to manage this industry's specific legal Health & Safety requirements.

Managing Inspection. This is about ensuring six monthly onsite inspections of equipment as well as 3-month inspection for their largest client. These inspections are a legal requirement. You will invariably be liaising with drivers to schedule these inspections. This needs to be carefully tracked for Health & Safety reasons to ensure certificates are maintained. Everything must be carefully logged onto spreadsheets enabling you to keep track.

Dealing with Suppliers: Ordering parts from suppliers in time so the workshop can fix the equipment on site or in their workshop. This would require good communication skills.

Engineer Scheduling: There are only a handful of engineers within the business who would rely on you to schedule parts coming into the business. Allocation of resources for any breakdowns. When engineers fix equipment within the workshop or on site, they will send you a job sheet detailing the work carried out. Again, everything must be carefully logged on spreadsheets enabling you to keep track.

Invoicing: Receiving job sheets of work completed by engineers and inputting these details into the system ready for invoicing.

Hours: flexible - 8.30am - finish at 4pm. 30 minutes for lunch.

Holidays: 5 weeks + 8 Bank Holidays
