Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Basildon, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £25k - £36k + Training + Benefits
A long-standing UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who have a leading presence in the South East of England. They are now looking to recruit a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts in London / Kent / Essex. You will be responsible for conducting the full range of surveying duties on Housing, Retail, Educational, and Industrial sites. Our client can offer excellent basic salary, company van with personal use, company credit card and regular overtime opportunities. This role would suit a candidate looking to cover more regional contracts.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Brentwood, Maldon, Southend-on-Sea, Billericay, Grays, Gravesend, Dartford, Chatham, Gillingham, Canterbury, Ashford, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Royal Tonbridge Wells, Croydon, Epsom, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Bromley, Orpington, Ilford, Romford, Dagenham, Croydon.
Experience & Qualifications:
" BOHS P402 or RSPH qualification (Mandatory).
" Experience working in the Asbestos industry for a UKAS accredited company.
" In depth knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Excellent communication and organizational skills.
The Role:
" Delivering Management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly, prior to sending for analysis.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
" Conducting reinspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Working efficiently in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.
" Consulting with clients when required, providing excellent support and advice.
