An expanding family run, electronics company in the Maldon area, are looking to recruit a Senior Assembler with conventional assembly experience to assemble products to a high quality with limited supervision.
Duties:
Perform standard conventional hand assembly
Component Pre-forming
Through hole soldering
Component Insertion
Occasionally may be required to put boards through the selective soldering machine
Experience Required:
Experience in electronic manufacturing.
A working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001
Hold a J-STD-001 certification or be willing to complete certification.
Must have good component recognition skills and be able to determine the polarity of the components being placed
Must be able to determine polarity from drawings or board markings.
Must be familiar with a range of hand tools including soldering irons, cutters and magnifiers
Benefits:
40 hour per week, flexible working hours between 8am and 5.30pm
20 days holiday rising to 25 with service plus bank holidays
