Our highly established and rapidly growing client based in Biggleswade are looking for Warehouse / Forklift Operative's to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who have experience within Warehousing and Logistics to grow within their career.
The hours for this role can be anytime between 7am and 7pm. The shift's run for 10 hours per day, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (45 hour week in total - Overtime available)
The salary for this position is £27,000 per annum, which increases to £28,000 per annum after 3 months.
Main duties as a Warehouse / Forklift Operative:
- Forklift operation, making sure they are moved safely in a busy industrial environment
- To stack and unstack large quantities of stock onto shelves/pallets in a safe manner
- Unload deliveries, safely relocating the goods to their designated areas
- Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
- Maintaining a safe and tidy forklift driving area, clearing up any spills or obstructions
- Use industrial plastics wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
- Making sure all Health and Safety protocols are correctly adhered to
- Keeping up to date with regular Forklift checks and Maintenance
What is needed as a Warehouse / Forklift Operative:
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift License and/or a valid Flexi Forklift license
- PPT license and experience desirable
- Warehouse and Logistics experience is essential
- Ideally to be available immediately
- Physically fit
- A strong working attitude with a great attendance record
- Team player
- Great attention to detail
