Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Transport Planner based in Bedford for a well-established, professional organisation.

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 40 hours working week, Monday - Friday
The role…
As the Transport Planner, your role will involve the following important duties:
Plan and coordinate transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods.
Help build runs for the general drivers.
Print and collate all driver’s paperwork.
Ensure drivers remain compliant.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
Monitor and track drivers to ensure on-time delivery
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and performance metrics.
The experience required…
As a successful Transport Planner, you will have the following:
Proven experience working in a transport operation with solid knowledge of the logistics industry.
Sound knowledge of driver regulations.
Ability to be flexible.
Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
Calm under pressure and good at problem-solving.
A positive and professional attitude to work.
Full clean UK driving licence with own transport.
