StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 drivers for a company based in Nottingham.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified drivers with a valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.
Remuneration:
Monday to Friday AM - £17.93
Monday to Friday PM - £19.05
Saturday AM - £19.05
Saturday PM – £20.17
Sunday AM – £20.17
Sunday PM - £21.29
*Please note that the above rates include optional upfront holiday payment*
Responsibilities:
This will involve delivering curtainside or box trailers nationwide.
All work is trunking and shifts are planned to be 12 hours (some of this time may be on standby at the yard.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
Start times are either 06:00 or 18:00 daily with weekend work available each weekend.
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
Experience driving container loaded trailers
Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
Great communication skills
Professional attitude
