Requirements:

You must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant qualification or equivalent.
A warm, friendly personality, as well as a patient and empathetic approach.
Experience of supporting students in a school setting.
Understanding of safeguarding procedures and their significance.
A valid DBS, or a willingness to acquire one. 
The Role
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing 1-2-1 and small group support to under-achieving KS3 and KS4 students across all aspects of the national curriculum. You will aid teaching staff in planning and delivering high-quality and engaging lessons and monitor student progress to recognise and accommodate any additional learning needs. It is essential that you are prepared to enthusiastically partake in activities with the wider school community to maintain a positive learning environment and create strong bonds with both pupils and staff.
