Are you a Project Manager based in the East Midlands and looking to work locally? Tired of commuting hours to different parts of the country? I am currently working on behalf of a Regional East Midlands Contractor, who are looking to expand their team with a Project Manager.
They specialise in a plethora of projects including industrial, educational, health care, anywhere from £500k - £15 million.
This company are extremely people orientated, they look to support their staff in any way they can. You will have regular progress and salary reviews, and be working with a close knit company who really value their staff. The majority of the time, they try to promote from within the business, which demonstrates their staff support. They want to work with good people, who work hard on good jobs, with good clients - they are all about long lasting relationships.
What they are looking for...
* Working in conjunction with the site team, ensuring accurate construction whilst maintaining quality and progress.
* Responsible for providing sound advice, guidance, and support to the project team throughout pre-construction and construction phases.
* Produce and manage programme of works.
* Monitor all site health and safety procedures and compliance by all site personnel.
* Liaise with supply chain team to ensure compliance and effective site set up.
* Ensure quality of workmanship in line company expectations.
* Deliver projects to agreed program of works.
* Monitor program of works and identify shortfalls and solutions.
* Strong Communication skills.
* Person management/Delegation skills.
* Experience delivering a mixture of projects to include new build and refurbishments.
* A good understanding of the building regulations, local authority agreements.
* SMSTS, First Aid, essential
* NVQ Level 6 (desirable)
* A methodical, professional, and collaborative approach.
* Ability to organise workload.
* Ability to create a positive and organised site.
