Logistics Operations Specialist - 39663

We are working with a collaborative company to recruit a Logistics Operations Specialist, and the role comes with an umbrella contract rate of £25.96 per hour (inside IR35).
The Logistics Operations Specialist will support a busy, time-pressure test planning and logistics team. You'll help manage test vehicles and test property internal movement and storage.
Some of your primary Logistics Operations Specialist duties will include:
Liaising with Aero lead engineers and the wind tunnel test facility to produce detailed weekly plans for test activities
Organising and managing logistics for both personnel and test vehicles, including vehicle transportation, travel line management for test engineers, and managing fitter support
Vehicle preparation work, including instrumentation, removal/assembly of mechanical components, and wheel and tyre changes
Workshop activity coordination, raising and tracking job cards for additional support from the workshop team
The ideal Logistics Operations Specialist candidate will be hands-on and mechanically minded/qualified with working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You must also:
Previous test planning and/or logistics planning experience
Ability to take direction where needed, work under time pressures, and use initiative
Excellent organisational skills
Possess Mechanical Engineering qualifications
Possess a full UK driving license without endorsements
