Specifications Technologist - Hybrid

My client a successful and well respected food manufacturer are seeking a Specifications Technologist to join their Technical department, due to continued growth and significant investment

You will take a key role in supporting the New Product Development Team and Process ensuring product specifications and information is correct

Key Responsibilities

*

· Ensure due diligence and take into consideration time scales, company procedures, legislation and customer codes of practice

*

· Ensure correct technical information is on correct packaging

*

· Attendance at customer meetings

*

· keep up to date with current legislation and company policies

*

· Ensure raw materials specifications are assessed according to standards

*

· Review analytical data

*

·compliant with customer requirements

*

· Support production to provide solutions

Skills and experience;

*

· Understanding of HACCP, GMP and hygiene

*

· Basic understanding of Microbiology and Nutrition

*

· Analysis

*

· Attention to detail

*

· Good computer skills

*

· Strong communicator

Role

*

· Hybrid 2-3 days at home

Days Mon- Friday

8.30am-5pm
