My client is a leading design/production agency who work with some of the biggest brands. They have an excellent track record in delivering outstanding projects in retail display, POS, product security, events and pop ups.

They are now looking for a Project Manager to join their team, the successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Design and Production teams to execute a diverse range of creative projects.

Job Role

* Good technical and a practical understanding of manufacturing and materials.

* Setting out and agreeing project objectives, timelines and budget

* Day-to-day management of multiple projects for various client accounts

* Ability to provide cost estimates and accurate production quotes for clients and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best value is obtained.

* Completion of all financial aspects of project management, including preparing project budgets (design development fees, internal production, out-sourced contractors etc), monitoring margin and tracking costs, generating purchase orders and invoice requests to the finance teams.

* Develop strong and effective partnerships with all team members and external parties to ensure successful project development and delivery

* Monitor and manage third party suppliers, ensuring quality and timelines are adhered to

* Identifies and tracks project risks, ensuring mitigation plans are executed

* Report on financial status of projects to Director level management.

Skills and Experience

* 5+ Years of experience within an integrated design and production agency (or similar)

* Strong project management, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal)

* Ability to work under pressure and problem solve

* Proactive, resourceful and demonstrate initiative

* Track record of delivering projects from design through to installation in a fast-paced environment

* General understanding to interpret technical drawings

* Ability to manage budgets, risks and resources and suppliers

* Is able to identify and deliver to customers’ needs and expectations

* Takes ownership of customers’ problems and ensure a satisfactory resolution

* Is able to manage the requirements of diverse customers in a timely and effective manner without compromising the quality of the expected service

* Responds positively to constructive feedback, demonstrating learning from experience and others’ advice

* Strong IT skills including Microsoft

* Commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of the industry and competitive market.

My client is based in a rural part of Leicestershire, therefore own transport is essential
