RECfinancial are currently shortlisting exclusively for one of Leicestershire's most prestigious businesses as they look to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer. This rare opportunity doesn't come around often so this is one not to be missed.

So what is the role?

Reporting into an empowering HR Director, based at their Head Office in North Leicester, your role will be to process the businesses weekly payroll of approx. 600 people in a timely and accurate manner whilst working closely with the HR Department and the wider business.

What are your accountabilities?

Process all elements of 600 staff, 500 weekly and 100 monthly
Ensure all salaries are processed in accordance with standard regulations
Process all new new starters, leavers, handling P45's, NI, TAX
Deal with all areas of SSP, SMP, SPP
Handle all payroll enquiries within the business and work closely with HR
Liaise with HRMC when requiredSo what skills do we want?

Solid payroll knowledge is essential
Knowledge of Tax and NI
Solid knowledge of Excel and Word
Systems implementation experience would be advantageous

Capable of meeting payroll deadlines
