Machine Operator – sheet metal work
Location: Leicester
1. Day shift: Mon – Thur: 7.00am – 5.30am Friday: 7.00am – 9.30am
2. Day shift: Mon – Fri 7.00am – 3.30pm
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay rate up to: £14.50/ hr (negotiable dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Matel Worker / Machine Operator looking for a new opportunity? Two of our clients, based in Leicester, are seeking a skilled individual to join their workshop team. Specialising in the fabrication, and general metalwork, this role requires someone who can interpret drawings accurately and work both independently and as part of a team.
The Role:
* Operating fabrication machinery such as press brakes, punch machines and pem machines.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
* Using hand and power tools
* Assembly of sheet metal products
* Basic inspection of completed work
* Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times
* General housekeeping duties
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience in hand fabrication and bending/shaping metals
* Must be fully competent and able to work from engineering drawings
* Experience with assembling metal parts
* Background in engineering / sheet metal fabrication preferred
* Effective communication skills in English
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
