A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team. You will be working on a large commercial project, carrying out new installations and remediation works to fire resistant materials. The works will be based in Leicester on a large commercial project. Most works will be service penetrations and batt/mastic installations, however there will also be some fire barrier installations in loft spaces.
The successful candidate will have:
* At least three years’ fire stopping experience
* NVQ level 2 passive fire protection
* Valid CSCS card
* Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound
* Fire curtain experience preferred
* Experience working using tracing apps to record works completed
* Knowledge of 3rd party accreditation
* Asbestos Awareness certificate
Roles and responsibilities
* Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing penetrations
* Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
* Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
* Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
* Liaise with customers and members of the general public

* Approx. 8 weeks work
* £180.00 per day CIS (based on 8hrs working)
