Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated Deputy Manager who is eager to advance their career in residential care management. You will play a pivotal role in being the Home Manager, managing a 3-bed home for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), under the guidance and support of a Dual Registered Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily operations of a 3-bed EBD home, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for the residents.

* Collaborate with the Dual Registered Manager to ensure the home meets all regulatory standards and achieves high-quality care outcomes.

* Lead, motivate, and support a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

* Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, tailored to the individual needs and well-being of each child.

* Manage administrative duties, including staff scheduling, budget management, and compliance documentation.

Ideal Candidate:

* Experience as a Deputy Manager or in a similar leadership role within children’s residential care.

* Ambition to progress to a Home Manager position, with a clear pathway and support structure provided to achieve this goal.

* Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage team dynamics and inspire staff to deliver their best.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage positively with children, families, and external agencies.

* A commitment to providing high standards of care and the drive to make a positive impact in the lives of young people with EBD.
