Tree Surgeon / Arborist

Great opportunity to work as a Tree Surgeon / Arborist for our client - Derby City Council which is the local authority for Derby, based in the East Midlands and is responsible for all services within its boundaries.
Staffline is recruiting for a Tree Surgeon / Arborist to work fixed shifts in Derby.
The rate of pay is £25,545 per year.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, the hours of work are:
- 7am to 3pm
Experience in a similar role is required.
Your Time at Work
As a Tree Surgeon / Arborist, your duties will include:
- Working alongside experienced arborists
- Tree works
- Climbing
- Operating machinery
- Operating hand tools
This role can be physically demanding and will include lifting and carrying heavy equipment.

Tree Surgeons / Arborists will have the ability to work well and maintain hand tools.
Experience in a similar role is required and you must have the following qualifications:

- (phone number removed) - City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Felling Small Trees up to 380mm - formerly CS31
- (phone number removed) - City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue - formerly CS38
- (phone number removed) - City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness - formerly CS39.
