Lead Engineering IQA
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000
An established further education provider in Derbyshire is looking to bring on board a lead Engineering IQA to join their commercial team.
As a Lead Engineering IQA, you will provide expert leadership and guidance within the engineering department. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the course content and teaching methods meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee the internal quality assurance of all engineering qualifications
- Carry out formative and summative assessment
- Assure the quality of assessment practices across the engineering department
- Provide feedback and guidance to teaching staff
- Lead regular standardisation meetings
Person Specification:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the further education sector
- Relevant degree in an engineering discipline
- Hold, or willing to work towards, a Level 4 internal quality assurance qualification
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good team player with the ability to work independently
