Lead Electrical Engineer

Company: Darkhive
Job type: Full-time

Darkhive is making robotics accessible. We are a new startup focused on the application of robotics to the public safety and defense community through small drones. Our approach in accessibility is built on three pillars of low-cost, ease-of-use, and open interface design to enable extensibility by third parties.
The Role:
Darkhive is building disposable sUAS platforms. This requires a unique blend of design and engineering to produce a product our customers love to use. You will create and refine the technology inside the designs, multi-tasking across a range of products to meet requirements and production needs. The role will also require being hands on to conduct research, prototyping, testing, and validation to ensure our products are of quality while maintaining a competitive price point.
You must be comfortable with rapid product development cycles (3-6 months) and have experience with manufacturing of medium-to-high quantities (consumer electronics experience is a plus).
If you have wanted to make sure the "right" system is developed for next-level sUAS autonomy, come help us build a vision of making robots safe, easy, and affordable performing real tasks for their human counterparts.

You bring:
B.S. of Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Masters Preferred, or equivalent experience
3+ years minimum of experience in electrical commercial hardware engineering and/or sustaining engineering
