The Role:
As a Transition Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate project management and timely completion of client events, such as new business onboarding, fund launches, custodian changes, and more. Working closely with your team, you will coordinate transition activities and serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise in investment management operations and project management will be crucial to the success of this role.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all transition activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Act as a key contact for internal and external partners
Demonstrate operational expertise in investment management industry
Maintain effective working relationships with external vendors and counterparties
Participate in change projects and oversee process improvement initiatives
Drive continuous improvement within the team
Chair meetings for stakeholders
Ensure SLAs and KPIs are achieved
Proactively identify potential process improvements
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven client service skills
Excellent project management and leadership skills
Strong knowledge of market instruments (e.g., bonds, equities, derivatives)
Effective communication skills at all management levels
Proficiency in Microsoft tools and ability to learn new systems
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong client focus gained in a financial service company
