Salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum depending on skills and experience, but negotiable for the right candidate

CE Solutions are proud to be working with Princebuild Ltd who are recruiting for a Project Manager to work on various retail contracts across England.

Established in 1971, what started out in a small office has grown beyond all expectations and now delivers a Nationwide, multidiscipline service to a diverse range of customers with 5 branches across 4 counties. All of Princebuild’s management team take a hands-on approach in terms of delivering projects, a method which has been passed from their Directors, right the way through the Company.

Many of the management team began their careers as engineers and have worked their way into their current role gaining vital experience, training and qualifications as part of that progression.

What you’ll do…

If successful, the Project Manager will have the opportunity to create a career for life at Princebuild working within the busy and expanding Retail Large Works Department.

Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects of varying values and diverse natures. This will primarily be Retail Projects (Waitrose and Morrisons Supermarkets) but in time may include commercial projects, MOD, MOJ, schools, care homes and upgrade works for values between £5,000 and £10m. You’ll be ensuring that the allocated retail projects are run efficiently and profitably ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety legislation and contract conditions.

The most critical conditions being that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the total satisfaction of our client.

Due to the locations and nature of these works, this role requires additional working hours and possible stopping out Monday to Thursday nights when required.

What you’ll need…

Princebuild Ltd are looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with the Lead Project Manager of this Department, present a professional image and be able to promote the Princebuild brand.

You will have the confidence to make well informed, effective and timely decisions even when faced with unpleasant consequences and perceived the impact these decisions have on others. You’ll have great leadership skills and will be able to encourage others to develop themselves and act as a role model. You have commercial awareness with an all-round understanding of the Construction process.

Key requirements:

* You will have previous experience of working within a similar retail project management environment

* You must hold a full current UK driving licence and have had 6 months driving experience since passing your test

* Construction related qualification i.e. HNC/HND/BSc

* GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in English Language, Literacy and Numeracy

* Site Management Safety Training Scheme (IOSH Managing Safely)

* Competent in the use of a range of IT packages

* Keen to pursue personal development needs and maintain up to date knowledge

Desirables:

* Current CSCS Card

* Current First Aid at Work

* NEBOSH

Successful applicants are required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, MOJ CTC clearance, MOD vetting clearance and enhanced police clearance.

07:45hrs to 17:15hrs Monday – Thursday

07:45hrs to 16:45hrs Friday

This will also involve daily travel and possible working away from time to time as deemed necessary for the needs of the business.

Starting salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum depending on skills and experience, but negotiable for the right candidate
