Software Tester

30,000 - 40,000 GBP/Year

Software Tester required to support an established, busy and personable team. This position is paying an annual salary between £30,000 - £40,000. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm.

The Software Tester will play a crucial role in the development team, responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track QA metrics. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail and possess a solid background in software development and testing methodologies.

Duties:

Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and feedback to developers
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackBenefits:

Onsite car parkingExperience required:

Proficiency in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a focus on web applications developed with ASP.NET and Razor Pages
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver for web application testing
Experience in API testing, preferably with Insomnia/Postman or similar tools
Experience in unit testing with a solid understanding of either NUnit or xUnit frameworks
Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) practices and the ability to implement testing strategies effectivelyPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
