A world-leading manufacturing company seeking a Stores Supervisor
The Role
This individual is responsible for the timely kitting and accuracy of all Work Orders (WO), Inventory Transactions, Printing, moving of material from the stores function to production, and to deputise for the Stores Manager in their absence.
Responsible for the accuracy of kitting.
To investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
To be the first tier of escalation for Stores team.
Work closely with Stores Manager to ensure efficient day-to-day running of Stores department.
Ensure stores KPIs are met/exceeded related to the kitting time/kitting accuracy/cycle counting.
Bring ideas to management and implements necessary process improvements
Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all Stores deadlines.
Responsible for ensuring daily checks are completed on forklift/company van..
The Candidate
Previous knowledge/experience of warehouse/stock room supervision an advantage.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand.
Ability to organise, schedule, coordinate and set priorities in a manner which ensures maximum performance and goal accomplishment.
Ability to work with several projects simultaneously.
Ability to motivate others in a team environment.
