Requirements:
Completed training as an IT specialist or a bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable qualifications
- Profound knowledge in network infrastructure, especially based on Cisco
- Good knowledge in switching, routing, and firewall systems, especially in Palo Alto
- Advanced knowledge of network-related services (DNS, DHCP)
- Experience in monitoring network infrastructure
- Initial experience in troubleshooting hardware systems
- Communicative and team-oriented, customer-focused, structured, and solution-oriented way of working as well as self-organization
Responsibilities:
Installation and administration of network components Cisco, Brocade, InfoBlox
- Active control, monitoring, and installation of firewall systems (PaloAlto)
- Care, monitoring, and optimization of network-related services (DNS, DHCP), L7 firewall concept, and Cisco ACI environment
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of hardware systems
- Development of automation involving SDN, micro-segmentation, VMWare
- Analyzing and improving operational processes within the infrastructure
