YOUR TASKS ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
Master's degreein natural sciences, pharmacology or medicine. Advanced degree inscience-related field e.g. MD, PharmD, PhDpreferred Experience in thepharmaceutical industry as an MSL preferred or experience in druginformation, clinical research and development, or other clinicalrelevantactivities Basic knowledgeof therapeutic areaproducts Knowledge ofproject management and understanding of clinical trial designandrationale Excellentpresentation and written and verbal communicationskills Good organizationskills with thorough attention to detail ensuring timelyfollow-through and closure with Thought Leaders and fellowMSL Strongstatistical skills and ability to extract insights from datapreferred Fluent spoken and written German andEnglish languageskills YOURAPPLICATION Local regulationsand legal requirements vary per country of hire and will bediscussed with considered candidates individually based on theirpotential of hire.

YOUR TASKS ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Exchange anddissemination of scientific, educational, and research relatedinformation: The MSL plans, partners and engageswith TLs as a subject matter expert and colleague both proactivelyand reactively via various innovative TL engagements tactics andformats to provide dissemination, clarification and education ofscientific data, study protocols, meeting abstracts, andprofessional literature (Both proactive discussions on-label, andreactive discussions for unsolicited off-label questions inalignment with localregulations)
- TL Identification/ profiling / segmentation and strategy and engagement planning: Inalignment with medical strategy as stipulated in the integratedbrand plan, the MSL contributes to internalunderstanding of specific TL interests, expertise and impact in themedical community atlarge
- Participation at/ networking in Congresses and Conventions: The MSL uses congressesand conventions to network with TLs, establishnew contacts, and gather competitiveintelligence
- Coordination ofScientific Education Activities and Advisory Boards: The MSLplans and organizes scientific training, education events/ sessions and advisory boards with TLs within theirspecific therapeuticarea
- Preparing reportsand tracking activities: The MSL submits timelyreports of field interactions and events, as well astracks activities against agreed upon PMPobjectives and country medical activityplan
- CollectingInvestigator Initiated Research (IIR) ideas and facilitating IIRset-up: The MSL acts as a point of contact forinvestigators, facilitating the interface withinvestigators and appropriate BHC personnel responsible forapproval, and communication of study progress andcompletion
- Interactions withMedical Societies: The MSL answers medical / scientificqueries of Medical Societies with regards to Bayerproducts
- Internalscientific support: The MSL serves as internalscientific expert by selective support to training activities inaddition to answering scientific / medical queries by the SalesRepresentatives (in conjunction with / as a supporting element toMedicalAdvisors)
- Clinical ResearchSupport: The MSL provides additional support (asrequired) to support local clinical operations personnel / MedicalAdvisors with respect to strategic feasibility in company sponsoredclinical development studies as well as facilitation of medicalaffairs interventional and observationstudies
