Requirements:

- Completed studies in non-technical administrative service (Diploma in Public Administration (FH) or Public Management (B.A. with a focus on information technology and management, completed studies in Digital Administrative Management (B.A.), or a strong understanding and affinity for IT, completed studies in Business Informatics (B.Sc.) or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
- Profound knowledge in current Microsoft products and applications, as well as basic knowledge in server, firewall, software, hardware, network technologies, and IT security, among others
- Good business management knowledge and familiarity with incident and escalation management
- ITIL certification is advantageous
- Strong social competence and ability for self-organization
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills
- Advanced communication skills and solution-oriented action
- Assertiveness, resilience, customer and process orientation
- Systematic and structured work style, as well as personnel management skills
- Good communicative abilities in both spoken and written language
- Fluent in German and good command of English
- Possess a valid driver's license (class B)



Responsibilities:

- (Organizational) leadership and management of the user service team with 6 IT specialists and ensuring smooth operations
- Continuous optimization of IT service processes and documentation
- Escalation management and monitoring processes
- Deployment planning and coordination of the user service team
- Assessment of feasibility of internal customer requirements in terms of IT and resources

IT Helpdesk Team Leader

We, the Department of Information and Communication, serve as the internal IT service provider for the municipal authorities, city councils, and schools. We manage a professional and future-oriented IT and telecommunications infrastructure with over 200 servers and more than 2400 clients at 90 locations.

We reserve the right to adapt the scope of responsibilities.
