M&Y THE NORTH GROCERY founded in 2013, it has grown into biggest Asian Food store in Nova Scotia. Our products include dry, fresh, frozen foods from mainland China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, America, and China-Taiwan. Our company currently has three locations around Nova Scotia, including 1544 Granville St, Halifax, B3J 1W8, 102/106 Townsend St, Sydney, B1P 5E1, and 6328 Quinpool Rd, Halifax, B3L 1A3.

Main duties:

--Develop, design, modify, maintain, and augment web and mobile applications for our customers to browse our products, shop online, get informed of any updates, and share comments;
--Maintain and provide support to company’s online POS system database and B2C shopping website;

--Test and debug the order management system and warehouse management platform;
--Develop and implement a complete E-commence shopping logic, which includes order downloading, warehouse inventory checking, shipping method selection, shipping label generation, shipping tracking updating, store-inventory updating, new product uploads and product price control;

--Communicate with couriers such as FedEx or UPS web integration departments to request and obtain access to their shipping label and rating APIs;

--Provide IT supports when needed, such as removing duplicated products, arranging bin data or generate employee ID;

-- Assist with diagnosis of hardware and software problems and ensure security and safety of company’s network.

Qualifications and Requirements:

--Completion of university program in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related fields;

--At least 5 years experience working in software programming and development;

--Advanced knowledge of web and mobile App development, network security, programming, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, My SQL, etc;

--Work under pressure, attention to detail;

--Work independently but also a team player.
