Resource Officer

Are you passionate about making a positive difference? Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Resource Officer to join our team. As a Resource Officer, you will play a crucial role in undertaking Social Care assessments in line with all current and relevant legislation. You will work closely with both individuals and families under the guidance of the Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake assessments of care and support needs 
Ensuring everything is in line with the Care Act 2014 and eligibility criteria
Collaborate with statutory, independent, and voluntary organisations to ensure responsive services and comprehensive care packages
Develop plans for appropriate interventions to safeguard vulnerable adults, including providing accommodation and seeking legal orders when necessary
Monitor and review clients according to departmental requirements
Maintain accurate records
Participate in duty rotas and contribute to the planning and development of local services
Provide information and statistics for departmental purposes
Attend meetings and working groups as needed
Prepare and produce written reports as requiredKey Skills Required:

Familiarity with assessment and review processes
Ideally you will have a Level 4 Adult Care qualification
Enhanced DBS clearance required before starting workPlease note, this role is on a temporary part-time basis (18.5 hours per week). This position may require occasional travel and flexible working hours.
