Day rate: £450 - £500 PAYE

Location: Chipping Warden, Oxfordshire

Proeject: HS2

Randstad are currently looking for a Sub Agent to work with a well established Civil Engineering contractor on HS2 in Chipping Warden.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee specific sections of the project, ensuring smooth coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Assist the Site Agent in planning and executing construction activities, adhering to project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
Supervise site operations, including earthworks, utilities installation, and structural works, to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Monitor progress against milestones, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate delays or issues.
Maintain accurate documentation and records, including site diaries, progress reports, and quality assurance records, to support project reporting and audits.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in civil engineering and construction management, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and resources to achieve project objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Sound technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
