Start a career where you are valued and supported in everything you do by joining the team at Gardens & Jacobs Neurological Centre in Sawbridgeworth as a Receptionist/Admin Assistant. You will be working 15 hours per week.

Your receptionist duties will see you be responsible for managing the management diary, ordering stationery, refreshments and toiletry supplies, and will ensure the reception rota is appropriately staffed.

Working alongside senior staff members, you will manage staff absences and will be responsible for staff payroll, reviewing weekly and monthly costs.

As an Receptionist/Administrator you will be:

Working as member of the Reception Team, by delivering an efficient and high quality front of house and reception service

Responsible for controlling access to the Hospital for service users, staff and visitors and undertaking associated security procedures

Carrying out administrative tasks as required

Provide cover for the Administrative Team as and when required

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have good Communication and interpersonal skills – as you’ll be interacting with patients and other service users constantly

Be self-motivated.

Be willing to learn and work as part of a team

Experienced using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Have Excellent Telephone Skills

Be able to multitask efficiently

Updating telephone list, Contact IT

Full training will be provided.

Where you will be working:

Gardens Neurological Centre and Jacobs Neurological Centre have a combined total of 132 beds on the same site in Sawbridgeworth (CM21 0HH), which is on the Hertfordshire and Essex border within easy travelling distance of London and Cambridge.

The two Centres deliver specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions, and brain or spinal injuries who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise functional ability.

Recovery is assisted wherever possible, with emphasis placed on maximising each individual's abilities, comfort and quality of life.

Each service has communal lounges, dining rooms, and all bedrooms have en-suite facilities with over 95% on single occupancy. All rooms are adapted to each resident's requirements according to their assessments and needs.
