Are you looking for ongoing driving work with good rates of pay?
Pertemps are currently recruiting several Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to work on a regular ongoing basis for our client DHL Nisa based in Scunthorpe. You will be required to deliver ambient or frozen goods to Nisa Local convenience stores or distribution centres, this will involve unloading cages filled with goods at local Nisa stores.
You will need to complete a Class 1 site assessment before being accepted to work on this site which consists of a drug and alcohol test, multiple-choice questionnaire surrounding driver’s hours, the highway code and tacho law followed by a driving assessment. Once you have passed the assessment there is a three-day site induction before going out on the road with a buddy who will show you the ropes!
What shifts and start times are available?
You will be starting between 04:00 – 06:00 and can work either flexible shift patterns such as Monday to Friday, Wednesday to Sunday or Saturday to Wednesday.
How much will I be paid?
Monday to Friday = £17.13ph.
Saturday & Sunday = £19.27ph.
Overtime after 42 hrs = £22.78ph.
£50 per week bonus for working four shifts or more in a week.
£10 per day if starting before 04:00Which skills or experience do I need to apply?
6 months minimum Class 1 experience
Category C+E (HGV 1) on your licence
Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
