Owen Payne Recruitment are actively seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to join a leading agricultural, family-owned client located the Telford area.
Due to the nature of this role, previous experience as a Hygiene Manager is essential.

The Ideal candidate will possess:
* At least 5 years experience in a similar role
* A HACCP Level 3 minimum
* Food Hygiene Level 3
* Knowledge of BRC
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience of dealing with retailer audits
Main Duties:
* Ensuring the premises and all equipment is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition, whilst upholding the sites hygiene compliance
* Leading a dedicated hygiene team, ensuring they are fully trained and multiskilled
* Maintaining an 'audit ready' keeping of records
* Monitoring cleaning results and investigate any of out of specification results
* Working alongside chemical suppliers to ensure staff are receiving up to date training on current chemical usage and practices
* Supporting with staff recruitment, selection, induction, training an development
* Maintaining hygiene staff rotas
* Carrying out the ordering of all chemicals and ancillary utensils for business use
* Complying with all relevant legislation including health and safety requirements
