Service Engineer

Service Engineer – Multiskilled – Electrically Biased - Home based - UK & Ireland coverage - £40-44k + overtime + car/car allowance (£5500) + bonus = £60-65k+ package

Samuel Frank is recruiting a Service Engineer to cover the UK & Ireland. We are looking for a Service Engineer with good electrical knowledge, who is skilled in faulting finding on motors, fans, pumps, low voltage instrumentation, control loops, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include:

* Good electrical knowledge with experience of motors, pumps, fans, low voltage instrumentation & control loops

* Ideally have some PLC fault finding experience

* Must be willing to travel and spend time away from home – role could suit a skilled Maintenance Engineer who is willing to travel

* Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment

* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues

* Flexibility to work weekends

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

* Occasionally respond to emergency call-outs and resolve issues in a timely manner

* Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance

* x1.5 overtime pay on Saturdays and x2 overtime pay on Sundays.

* All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
