Associate Architectural Technologist or Architect

Excellent opportunity available here for an Associate Architectural Technologist or technically focused Architect, to join a small but growing Architectural practice based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.

The practice have been established since 2018, in which time they have already developed an enviable client portfolio and grown to a medium sized team of Architectural professionals, made up of Architects, Technicians and Assistants.

Residential work is the lifeblood of the practice, working with housebuilders and private clients alike on both multi-unit developments and one off housing. The individual for this role will ideally have a solid background in the Residential sector, ideally having worked either within or very closely with housebuillders on a national scale.

The position available is for either an Associate level Architectural Technologist or technically focused Architect that will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the team, overseeing the delivery of projects and liaising with individual job runners. The individual will alos ideally have the ability and experience to develop new working leads for the practice, which will be rewarded with incentives along the way.

The role has excellent opportunity for further progression, and you will be joining the team as a member of senior personnel. This means the opportunity to strive towards Associate Director and beyond within the next 12-24 months is a very likely possibility.

Desired Attributes of the Associate Architectural Technologist or Architect:

CIAT accredited Technologist or RIBA chartered Architect with UK recognised qualifications.
At least 10-15 years of industry experience, ideally having operated within the Residential sector as a main focus.
Management experience and be comfortable in leading a medium sized office on a day to day basis.
Business development experience would be beneficial and would be rewarded for new clients brought into the business.
Excellent technical ability and be comfortable working in the delivery end of projects.
Proven experience of working directly with clients as the main point of contact and liaising with local authorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
·AutoCAD experience along with added benefit of Revit, Photoshop and Sketchup (predominantly AutoCAD based role, software not an essential criteria).
