Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer
Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm
Location: South - West England (Bristol & Cardiff areas primarily, with travel to Reading as and when required)
An opportunity has risen for an experienced Gas Engineer to carry out PPM and Reactive Activities to our commercial portfolio in Bristol & South-West England.
Whilst the core function is commercial combustion, there will be an occasional need for domestic boiler servicing as well.
Applicants should have Domestic / Commercial Experience, Gas Safe qualifications and would be an advantage to have any plumbing skills with relevant commercial experience.
The applicant would be expected to assist with various reactive and PPM tasks, as well as core combustion skills.
This is a hands-on role and would suit an individual that can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required, a conscientious and reliable team player and someone that has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to plan and supervise their own workload, liaise with the clients representatives and their clients is also required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* A minimum of: Gas Safe registered with relevant training in domestic and commercial gas to include CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, WAT1, CODNCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, BMP1, TPCP1A.
* Unvented hot water systems safety course (A Bonus)
* Excellent gas knowledge of current gas regulations.
* Knowledge of a variety of Commercial/Domestic appliances and installations.
* C&G / Apprenticeship or Similar
* Possess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
* Comprehensive knowledge, both domestic and commercial of most major manufactures
* Good all-round knowledge of heating systems & plumbing skills
* Good interpersonal & communicating skills, positive attitude & flexible approach to work/Clients’ requirements.
* Full UK driving license
