HCRG Staffing are looking for a Band 6 or Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) for an adults NHS team in Southampton, Hampshire.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) will be working with Adult population with acquired neurological impairments.

Job details: Work as an autonomous practitioner, assessing diagnosing, and providing timely intervention and management of communication and/or swallowing problems as a member of the Community SLT team. To provide input to adults who have an acquired condition (e.g. dementia, progressive neurological conditions, CVA). Contribute to data collection, where relevant as member of MDT. To collaborate and liaise with MDT colleagues to provide co-ordinated care to clients in the Community setting. To provide clinical support, where appropriate to other colleagues, including students. To contribute to client information, manage priorities, organise equipment/resources and liaise with other SLTs about continuing care following discharge. To contribute to the prioritisation and triage of referrals to ensure that priority, high risk, clients are seen urgently, following locally devised systems / timescales. To be flexible in providing cover to community settings where most needed, as directed by the clinical services manager. To contribute, wherever possible, to the administrative processes that ensure the most efficient service delivery for clients

Must be a car driver and have acccess to a car. Part time hours considered: 3-4 days per week, working 7.5 hours each day.

Excellent pay rate up to £32 per hour (paid via an umbrella of your choice).
