Fairhive is a non-profit affordable housing provider with ambition. We already provide affordable housing to more than 20,000 people in our community but we want to do more. That’s why we are striving to provide 1,000 additional homes by 2025.

As an Health & Safety Administrator at Fairhive you can expect a varied workload and to be a valued member of our team, providing administrative support, essential to the smooth running of the business. 

About the Role

We are looking for an organised administrator with good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task to provide essential administrative support to the Health & Safety team.

On the Job you will:·

Provide administrative support to the Assistant Director of H&S including organising meetings, taking minutes, follow up on matters arising and draft reports

Build relationships with key employees across the organisation to collate and share information for monthly H&S reporting 

Work closely with all teams across the organisation to raise H&S awareness, supporting delivery of H&S training  and assist with delivering H&S Compliance for the organisation. 

About You

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of a variety of administration tasks and who enjoys working with a diverse range of people. You will understand the importance of delivering an efficient and effective service to colleagues and customers.

For this role you will need:

Good awareness of H&S and pervious experience in working in H&S compliance team

H&S training IOSH/NEBOSH and DSE Risk assessment training 

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:

Line manager to amend the below as relevant for the job·

good communication skills both verbal and written·

 attention to detail·

Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise·

the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team,·

practical problem solving skills·

Computer skills (MS Office)
