CNC 5 Axis and Mill Turn

Contract: Permanent
Hourly rate plus shift allowance. (Negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: 37-hour week
Location: Glasgow
Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC 5 Axis and Mill Turn skilled professionals to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, program, and operate CNC 5 Axis and Mill Turn machines to produce high-precision components.
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
* Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
* Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure their optimal functioning.
* Inspect finished products to meet the required quality standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
* Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in CNC machining, specifically with 5 Axis and Mill Turn machines.
* Proficiency in machine programming and operation.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
* Knowledge of machine maintenance and care.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A strong work ethic and a desire to continuously improve skills and knowledge in CNC machining.
