As a result of their ongoing growth, they are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Manchester.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will assume the responsibility of overseeing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring their timely completion while achieving favourable financial outcomes.
Responsibilities to include:
Receiving handovers from the Estimating department to collect all cost information and quotations utilised in the tender process.
Conducting reconciliation for Tender Cost Value and generating tender CVR reports.
Initialising financial files for individual projects.
Coordinating with clients to establish valuation dates.
Assessing and valuing all variations, then submitting valuations to clients
Performing cost value reconciliations.
Handling submission and negotiation of final accounts.
Coordinating orders with Sub-contractors.
Providing instructions to Sub-contractors for variations.
Participating in Sub-contractor meetings.Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
Proven experience in quantity surveying or related field.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
