Pester UK are a wholly owned subsidiary of German manufacturing company Pester Pac Automation GMBH. We are one of the leading global suppliers of pharmaceutical and consumer packaging machinery. Pester UK provide sales, service, and engineering support to the UK & IRE marketplace with over 300 machines in territory. As a result of significant growth in both the German and UK businesses we are looking for someone to support sales growth across new machines, service support and spare parts.

Opportunity

Due to continued growth Pester are seeking a Service Sales Engineer to provides technical sales and support to the Pester UK customer base. Support the sales organisation with new machine sales projects and manage the pester UK customer base to identify opportunities for incremental revenue from our existing base. This can be through spare parts packages, service level agreements or engineering support.

Key Responsibilities

* Building strong, positive, long-lasting relationships with customers

* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets

* Using technical knowledge to identify new and existing customers to identify growth potential in service

* Manage prospects efficiently through the sales cycle to point of order. Ensuring a smooth project hand over with Pester Germany and the customer

* Working closely with head of Sales Operations to build and upsell bespoke service level agreements to new and existing customers

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products/services and customer satisfaction

* Completing administrative tasks in a timely manner and proficiency with a CRM system (SAP) would be a benefit

Desired Attributes

* Proven track record of delivering sales withing the pharmaceutical or consumer machinery industry

* Excellent commercial awareness and customer problem solving

* Ability to demonstrate a consultative selling approach

* Previous experience maintaining customer relationships, taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally
