Machine Operative

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for an Press Brake Operator / Machine Operative to work in their busy factory. This is a permanent role (after the usual 3 months probation).
Salary:
* £12.29 per hour (£11.44 per hour + £0.85 per hour shift allowance) + Overtime.
Shift pattern (Early & Late, rotating weekly):
* 5.45am - 2.15pm Monday – Thursday, 5.45am - 1.15pm Friday
* 2.00pm - 10.30pm Monday – Thursday, 1.00pm - 8.30pm Friday
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To operate a press brake machine, to manufacture the company products.
* To following engineering drawings.
* To follow quality specifications of build programme.
* To verify product and build dimensional conformance to engineering drawings.
* Any other duties as reasonable requested by management.
Applicant Requirements:
• Previous recent experience as a Press Brake Oeprative in a manufacturing / production / factory / engineering environment (essential)
• Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.
• A good team player.
• Willing to work overtime at short notice.
• Have a meticulous and efficient work ethic.
• Attention to detail.
This job would suit someone from a manufacturing or production environment where a Press Brake machine has been used.
