Stock Controller
Supporting my client based in BD12, I’m looking for a detailed oriented, problem-solving stock controller who is confident in completing stock analysis, dealing with day-to-day issues, and who’s happy to be in the warehouse looking for solutions and outcomes.
Data analysis and manipulation requiring an excellent understanding of MS Excel, ERP, WMS. Experience with SQL or MS Access is desirable.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to bring their sills and experience in stock control, analysis, counts, investigation, and correction along with working closely with the Supply Chain and Warehouse Managers to enhance systems and improve utilisation.
Responsible for Stock control including:
Stock Analysis utilising Excel.
Stock counts – Physical Counts, Error Investigation, Root Cause analysis and Corrective Actions.
Assist with Warehouse Management System project.
Improve Warehouse utilisation.
Stock Analysis primarily using Excel and current MRP system
Regular Stock Counts. Record and investigate inventory variances and root cause analysis.
Assist in developing the Warehouse Management System (Physical and Electronic)
Participate in other duties as and when required. Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, varied experience with ERP Software and Warehouse Management Software
Excellent analytical skills
Proven experience of implementing process improvements with MRP and WMS
Good understanding of warehouse procedures and processes
Previous experience within a stock control role
Ability to meet deadlines, flexible and be able to work under pressure handling multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High attention to detail
Proven desire to learn and develop Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
Experience of Importing and Exporting material worldwide
Production Planning
Transport planning
Purchasing/sales order progressing
SQL MS Access

Salary £35,000-£37,000 DOE
Monday – Friday 40 hours per week 
Discretionary annual bonus payment (pro-rata for the current year) dependent on company achieving set targets.
