Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

A prestigious manufacturing firm is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their dedicated team. This position offers a generous salary range of £44,000 to £46,000 and operates on an engaging Panama shift pattern, 12 hour days and nights, providing ample time for work-life balance.

The Role:

* Comply with all HSE policies and procedures.

* Electrical diagnostic work on PLC systems

* Implementing & supporting rapid breakdown fault finding & rectification.

* Breakdowns, fault finding & repair of complex machinery & ancillaries;

* Installation and commisioning of industrial machinery

* PLC’s / Controls SIEMENS

* Assist with the focussed improvement team.

* 3 phase electrical systems & operations.

* Initiating improvement in practices, Systems & procedures.

* Mechanical maintenance

Required Skills and Experience:

* Recognised qualifications in electrical engineering.

* Time served engineering apprenticeship

* Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

* Experience with PLC systems, ideally Siemens and Omron

* Welding experience

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
