Position Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Role Snapshot:
As an SDET, you'll be pivotal in fortifying and advancing automated testing frameworks to ensure the integrity of various technology platforms, including web applications, APIs, and data systems. Your role will entail close collaboration with software engineers and product owners to define and validate application functionalities while spearheading a culture of quality assurance.
Responsibilities Overview:
* Develop and sustain testing frameworks for APIs, data platforms, and web apps.
* Cultivate a culture of quality engineering, emphasizing automation as a primary approach.
* Liaise with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless project progression.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies, integrating relevant tools and practices as needed.
Key Requirements:
* Profound understanding of testing methodologies, including behavior-driven and unit testing.
* Proficiency in automation testing, utilizing C# testing frameworks.
* Practical experience with web app testing tools like Playwright and API testing tools such as RestSharp.
* Familiarity with behavior-driven testing using Gherkin and SQL expertise for backend database testing.
* Solid grasp of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with cloud and on-premises solutions.
Desired Skills:
* Exposure to Azure DevOps pipelines and Docker/containerization.
* Experience with performance and load testing using tools like LoadUI.
* Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
Technology Landscape:
Our client's tech stack includes C# web applications interfacing with Microsoft SQL Server databases, complemented by Snowflake cloud data warehousing orchestrated through Python and Prefect for ELT processes. They operate within a hybrid on-premises/Azure cloud environment.
