Location: Hillsborough, Sheffield.
Hours: 35 hours, 06:00 to 13:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive

We manufacture high-integrity, open-die and closed-die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys for customers and tier-one suppliers within the aerospace, power generation, marine as well as oil and gas sector. We are unique due to the combination of open and closed-die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw material to the finished product in one location.
The role:
You will be responsible for:
* Drive, set up and operating the GFM in line with safe systems and quality standards
* Maintain efficient production by operating the machine at the correct cycle times or speed required.
* Working in line with route cards, raising non-conformances as required in line with procedure
* Responsible for health and safety of yourselves and others around you
* Monitor machine and furnaces on a frequent basis to check that product is produced to customer specifications
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive individual who is looking for a fresh new challenge within a growing independent company. You would need to have experience with working with hot metal and or a background in machining or CNC Programming.
Desirable:
* Fully experienced in all aspects of GFM Driving
* Fully experienced in all aspects of GFM tooling set up
* Good working knowledge of the GFM Department
* Fork Lift Truck driver’s license
Qualifications:
5 GCSE’s with grade C or above including Maths and English.
